About Yachao Zhang, M.D.

Yachao Zhang, M.D.,  received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Binghamton University in New York. She then completed her doctorate at Upstate Medical University. Dr. Zhang received her post-graduate training in surgery at the State University of New York’s Upstate University Hospital. She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at New York Medical College. Following her residency, Dr. Zhang did a fellowship position in vascular and interventional radiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Zhang researched molecular imaging probes for intraoperative imaging and targeted cancer therapy during her fellowship. Dr. Zhang has presented at over 40 exhibits, meetings, and conferences. Dr. Zhang is also an avid volunteer for the Women in IR Committee and the World Molecular Imaging Congress. As a board-certified interventional radiologist, Dr. Zhang’s expertise and patient-centered approach to medicine ensures excellent vein treatment.
